Special electric guitar with a hand-carved, lightweight body with Doublecut body shape from Variax Standard series that features a special electronic system connected to the Variax Workbench HD software which allows player to shift the borders of his sound or design his own, unique sound. The whole body of the instrument is made of high-quality alder wood. The bolt on solid neck is made of one piece of maple and features a flat “C” profile. It is fitted with a rosewood fingerboard with 22 frets and 336.6mm radius. Scale length is 647.7 mm, nut width is 41.9 mm. The guitar further features a Custom Tremolo bridge and three specifically designed “V” single-coil pickups with Alnico magnets which can be adjusted via Variax Workbench HD software. A special control further allows for use of 11 alternative tunings including Open G, DADGAD or Drop D, or 16 alternative sound settings of the pickups. Sound can be further controlled via Volume and Tone controls and 5-way selector switch. The guitar further offers a VDI (Variax Digital Interface) connector for direct connection with the Line 6 POD HD multi-effect processor and closed machine heads. The instrument works as a standard electric guitar with passive electronics when used with battery (without power adapter).
